I recently discovered that chmodding files over FTP have stopped working somehow. I have finally updated our FTP to a newer build on the server to see if it was the issue that will be resolved but it didn't resolve so I will get this issue solved again somehow on one day.
The following results by managing to do another method to correct the software from the upgrade from 1.3.1 to 1.3.2 last week is by modifying the files to avoid the automatic chmodded to a weaker permission level each time the rebuild tool is ran. Of course you still have to chmod these site maps over the FTP servert before running the rebuild tools because setting up the NTFS permissions will not work anymore.
It is very strange because trying to chmod these over FTP will still not work because the server is using a windows operating system. I have again managed to get the files chmodded through our PHP engine by writing some PHP files to do so. It is now working correctly.
